The default menu is the duet plate of Short Ribs and Atlantic Salmon. If you would like the vegetarian plate (Mushroom Risotto), please indicate in the “Special Dietary Needs” field on the registration.
AIR FORCE BALL INVITATION
Tickets are priced according to military or civil service grade. To help clarify how that works, here are a few examples of typical ticket buying options. Should you have any questions, please contact the Ball committee at LancePSijanAFA@gmail.com. The ticket purchaser can buy one guest ticket for the same price as the purchaser. For example, an E4 buys a ticket for herself at the E4 rate and her husband works for Colorado Springs Utilities. The husband’s ticket is also at the E4 rate.
If two military members attend together, each member pays at his/her appropriate rank rate. An O-3 & an O-4 attend together, the O-3 would pay $60 and the O-4 pays $70.
A purchaser can buy up to 3 tickets in addition to their own. The purchaser can buy one guest ticket according to the rules above. The remaining two tickets must be purchased at the appropriate rate for their category, e.g., E7, O4, non-AFA member, etc.
“Sit With” requests will be honored to the maximum extent possible. As a ticket buyer, you can purchase up to four tickets (ticket buyer plus three guests) and we will assume that you wish for everyone in your party to sit together. You may also buy only one or two tickets and request to sit with other guests who are buying their own tickets. Instructions for “Sit With” requests are found on the registration website. Ticket sales will close Friday, January24, 2019.

Parking Options!
We have FREE parking this year in the garage – and with the Ball in Broadmoor Hall – there is no walking outside! The other option is valet parking in front of the Summit Restaurant for $8. Cars will be parked outside. Guests will not be able to self-park in the outside lot as it is reserved for valet parking only. Please do not park in the Golden Bee lot as that is for their customers only. Guests staying at the Broadmoor can take the free shuttle from the Main or West buildings or the South Tower to the International Center.

Dress Code
THIS IS A FORMAL EVENT
“Mess Dress/Formal” or “Modified Service Dress Combination” for military members.
“Formal/Black tie” or “Dark suits/business attire” for civilians.
There is a formal wear lending closet, Cinderella’s Closet, at the Thrift Shop on Peterson AFB (556-1756), Hours of operation are (Tues – Fri 9am-2pm). Open to all with a military ID or CAC. The only cost is for dry cleaning the garment after the Ball.

MOST PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN RESOLVED, BUT OTHERS REMAIN – SOME GUESTS HAVE HAD TROUBLE REGISTERING FROM MILITARY COMPUTERS
If you are having some of the same payment issues, you have a few options:
- Call Constant Contact at (866) 289-2101. Tell them you want to register for the Sijan Chapter Air Force Ball and they can walk you through the process.
- Use a non-military computer or mobile device.
- Tickets are purchased using PayPal. Although very unlikely, if you have a problem you will need to contact PayPal directly at (888) 221-1161.
