“Bill” Houth is Vice President of Communication for the Air Force Association. He is also Committee Member for the Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Council (MAC), and is active in other service orientated committees associated with Calvary Chapel East Side Colorado Springs.
In his professional career Bill is the director of Webster University Peterson Campus and is an Adjunct Faculty instructor for Webster and National American Universities. His focus is on education and being an educator. Prior to Webster University Bill is an eligible Colorado State teacher and served as a substitute teacher for many of the school districts in Colorado Springs and the surrounding area.
Bill holds three Associate Degrees in General Studies from University of Maryland, Science and Technology, and in Communication from the Community College of the Air Force. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Colorado Technical University. In addition, Bill holds two Master Degrees one in Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Business Transformation and A Master’s of Science Degree in Project Management. Bill also hold two graduate certificates in e-Business and Project Management. Lastly Bill has a Doctorate Degree in Education in Education Leadership with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Phoenix.
Bill’s Air Force Career spanned 20-years, mostly in the space and missile arena. He commanded off site operations in radar and satellite positioning for Operation Desert Storm. He served multiple deployments in Operation Enduring Freedom. He established command and control during 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers while serving in the Command Center at Cheyenne Mountain Air Station.
Bill is married to Wendy, his wife of 27-years. They have two kids a boy (22) and a girl (26). His family loves outdoor activities such as snowboarding, mountain biking, rock climbing, and back packing.
Bill is a servant leader, this is evident his life, family, and career. He is a teacher at heart and helping people learn the necessary information for them to succeed in life and in their career is his commission in life.
