The Military Order of the World Wars

presentation1Colorado Springs Chapter CO – #151

Commander’s Comments:

Greetings All,

Announcing our October Luncheon, we have a tremendous program that will be of interest to everyone.  Lt Gen Ervin Rokke, USAF (Ret), USAFA ’62, will speak to us about his experiences as the Defense Attaché in Moscow during the final days of the Soviet Union.  You can just imagine the behind the scenes discussions he was witness to as that nation went from being one of the two super powers in the world to fragmenting into several individual republics.  Gen Rokke has been everything from a cadet in the 4th graduating class from the USAF Academy to the President of Moravian College, with many interesting assignments in between, such as Dean of the US Air Force Academy.  For more info on Gen Rokke go to the link: http://www.af.mil/AboutUs/Biographies/Display/tabid/225/Article/105791/lieutenant-general-ervin-j-rokke.aspx

Please come to this tremendous event….you will not be disappointed!  You do not have to be a member of the MOWW to attend, all are welcome.  We will be holding this lunch in the Arnold Hall Ballroom on Monday, 24 October starting at 11:30.  Please see the information below for details…deadline for sign-up is 17October.  It is pay at the door, but we need an accurate number for our caterers and Arnold Hall.  Thank you and see you there!

“It is Nobler to Serve than to be Served”

For the Good of the Order.

Respectfully,

Doug “Mush” Brower, Lt Col, USAF (Ret)
