Ed Duffett

Ed retired from the US Air Force after 25 years, where he was fortunate enough to spend most of his career on ‘special duty’ assignments. Some of those included teaching teambuilding and business concepts, running world-wide conferences for the Air Force Reserves, and providing career guidance for those graduating from the US Air Force Academy. After that came 20 years in the civilian workforce spending time in capacities such as community manager for the American Cancer Society-Southern Colorado, site training manager for Xerox on a special Microsoft project, finance director for a local AAA baseball team, and even serving a couple stints on the Coast Guard Auxiliary National Staff. Now Ed volunteers at the Space Foundation Discovery Center, among others, and most recently, the Air and Space Forces Association. He currently serves on the Navy League of the U.S. Legislative Affairs Steering Committee where most his time is spent advocating for funding and legislative support from federal and state governments as well as the occasional trip to Washington D.C. to meet with congressional members and their staffs. Ed has a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (informally a DBA ABD), an MBA, and a Master of Management degree. Finally, Ed is a ‘space nerd’ who belongs to various space societies and museums.
